Proud To Be An Athlete

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Hi!i'm Michelle. I just wanna share my experiences and how proud I am of being an Athlete.
It is such a great feeling if you're the one chosen to represent your school, city, club, group, or organization in a competition or tournament.
I experienced to join 10 regional Taekwondo Competitions. I win, i lose, then I win, then I lose again.
It's hard to lose, but it's harder to win, because the more you win,the more lessons, skills, and test you are going through,.Even it's hard, I did it all, because I'm devoted, and I love what I am doing,no matter what it is.Being an Athlete is not to win or lose but TO FIGHT!.that's the spirit..
Before I  decide to join our club, I already think of what might happen and what responsibilities am I going to experience, that's why, I'm not blaming anyone for it is my own decision.

The best Experience I've ever had, is when I joined the Palarong Bicol 2011.My Palarong Bicol team mate's and I were together for almost  2 months. We've been together in Pacol for almost one month, and in Guinobatan, Albay for 3 weeks.During the Palarong Bicol Leave-In Concentration Training, I did not expect that I am going to suffer a lot of body pain due to hard and non-stop training and sparring.
I'm telling you..believe me..(haha). In a set of our training w/c is equivalent to one day of training is composed of 2 hours walking, 2 hours jogging at the oval, 300 jumping jacks, 300 high knees, 300 sit-ups, 300 push-ups,500 different exercise, 2 hours sparring, and 3 hours poomsae.

I don't know how I passed this kind of test. For me,it's the hardest and most difficult training I've been through.
This kind of experience taught me on how to be more responsible, creative and independent. I met  diff. persons w/ diff. personalities and those people are my best memories...

I'm Proud to say that I AM AN ATHLETE...

Last week,we discussed all about Personal Entrepreneurial Competency. We even filled up some PEC test questions.I learned that there are three Clusters made up the PEC. They are, the Planning Cluster, Achievement Cluster, and Power Cluster, and each of it is composed of characteristics that a good entrepreneur should have. The ten characteristics are, opportunity-seeking, systematic planning and monitoring, risk-taking, commitment to work contract, persistence, demand for quality and efficiency, goal-setting,information-seeking, persuasion and networking, self-confidence..
At the end of the week, our TLE teacher added some more characteristics, which are the creativity, self-control, desire for immediate feedback, desire for responsibility, high energy level, decision-making skill,well-defined values, and Courage
As I know, a good entrepreneur sets clear and specific objective and clear and specific long term.
They should also have specific objective everyday, they should be realistic, self-reliant,select goals w/c are important to them, and focused on possitive objectives only.

I never dreamed of being an Entrepreneur someday, but I still want to learn about on how to be a successful businesswoman,so I can share my knowledge to other people who is planning to open, operate, or run a business.

Uno De Confianza

Hi Everyone! My name is Michelle Mallar but my friends used to call me Mich, haha, isn't that nice!
Our section's name is I-Confianza., but I think it sounds better if we  say " Uno Confianza" or "Uno de Confianza", which means Trustworthy,..
In our section, you can see different people with different personalities. Some are annoying, friendly, serious, silent, behave, unruly, intelligent, lazy, and noisy, But! there's a big BUT! , I can all assure you that there is no,any single person who is Quarrelsome in our class. All of us are fun and easy to be with, but were just really different from each other, Because I think, maybe that's the way of expressing ourselves.
So all i can say,,,"I'm enjoying the company of my classmates and how we treat each other, which is like brothers and sisters...haha...I Love You Guys..."
