My First Typing Lesson

Saturday, August 13, 2011
HI! everyone! we have gone  a little bit far , and little by little, we are learning a lot about computers.
So our topic for today is TYPING. I'm gonna share with you the things that I've learned from "MY FIRST TYPING LESSON"

Some of us knows how to type, and how to type very fast. But my question is, are doing the right thing when you're typing? I mean are you doing the right hand position? Because me I do not.haha. I know how to type, but  I don't know the correct hand position.

My T.L.E teacher said that each of our finger have an assigned keys on the keyboard. So this is how it loooks like:
So how was it for you? Are you confused? Cause I am confused. It just mean that the assigned colors of the fingers are also the assigned placement of you fingers on the keyboards. For example, the yellow finger is assigned for the keys/letters R,T,F,G,V and B.

To learn more, let us watch this video.

For me, it's kind a hard to practice the right way In COMPUTER TYPING. For us, it might be difficult to memorize the keys on the keyboard. It might be hard to type without looking at the keyboard, and to type 45 words per minute. But as a high school student and a student of Naga City Science High School, it's my responsibility  to work and study hard.
Although it's hard, I must learn the right things.

By the way, did you enjoy???Hope you did. See you again next time!

So little by little let's review on the different parts of computers.

I'm not that good in giving and memorizing details. So to give you a complete information about the parts of the computer, let us again take a look at this video.
Lights, camera, Action!

So that's the basic parts of the computer...
So let's take a review.
The basic parts of computer is the monitor, the keyboard, the mouse, the system unit,  the speaker, A.V.R.

If I am  mistaken, please tell me...

Computer Tour

Hi everyone and Good day!
I'm here again to share some thoughts and information about COMPUTERS.

Okay, we all know that these days, computer is one of the most important thing that is being used by people everyday. It is needed by both workers and companies, and was always involve in every transactions. For the student, what would be learning without these computers? For me, as a student, computer is really important, for it helps me in many ways such as in researching, communicating, printing, encoding, and also for entertainment.

Almost billions of people know what a computer is, how do it looks like, and how it is being used. W know these things but we don't know what  and where do computers came from? So it's time to have a tour in the "WORLD OF COMPUTERS"

Since, I also do not  know where do computers came from, let's just take a look at this video, and learn with me
So now, can you already answer the question:
"Where do computers came from?"
haha...hope you can! cause I can't.

So, let us not just use and play with the computer. Never use things without knowing what they are, and where they came from. Remember, people grow just like how things improve. We grow because we learn from the past. So let us put in our minds that Technology improves because they are based from the past.

So did you enjoy?
Please share with me your ideas. Just follow my blog  simplymich21@gmail.com .
And as I've always said "DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT"!

HAVE A NICE DAY! AND GOD BLESS!

My "First Computer Proper Posture" Lesson

Friday, August 12, 2011
Hi Everyone! I'm Michelle and I'm here again to share my experience about "My First Computer Proper Posture Lesson".

But first, I want to discuss with you the things that I've learned before I started my "Typing Lesson"

My teacher in our T.L.E.  class, Ma'am Cathy   told us that when in comes to computer typing, we do not just type using any of our fingers we want to use. We must learn  proper posture in typing and the right  placement of our hands on the keyboards.
Now here's, the proper posture:
First of all, we must line top of monitor with the top of our head.Position screen must at our arms length. But the most important is, our shoulders must be relax,if not, we might not perform well.Next, we might bend our elbows 90 degrees and keep our wrist straight. We line up our hips, shoulders, and ears vertically, while placing our hips far back in chair  bent at 90 degrees. That's what I've learned.

Now if it's not that clear for you, you may watch this video for you to understand it well...

ENJOY WATCHING!
Now Here's The Part 2
And For you to enjoy, I had uploaded an  anime video on "How To Correct Proper Posture", In here you can see how  people use the computer not following the right posture and the different ways on how to help them do the "Right Posture In Using the Computer"

So I think we must really, follow the right  posture in using the computer...

So what have you Learned? Me, I learned a lot.Share with me your  "First Computer Typing Posture Lesson" and I would love to hear your stories....

Ooopppsss! Don't forget To Comment!

Proud To Be An Athlete

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Hi!i'm Michelle. I just wanna share my experiences and how proud I am of being an Athlete.
It is such a great feeling if you're the one chosen to represent your school, city, club, group, or organization in a competition or tournament.
I experienced to join 10 regional Taekwondo Competitions. I win, i lose, then I win, then I lose again.
It's hard to lose, but it's harder to win, because the more you win,the more lessons, skills, and test you are going through,.Even it's hard, I did it all, because I'm devoted, and I love what I am doing,no matter what it is.Being an Athlete is not to win or lose but TO FIGHT!.that's the spirit..
Before I  decide to join our club, I already think of what might happen and what responsibilities am I going to experience, that's why, I'm not blaming anyone for it is my own decision.

The best Experience I've ever had, is when I joined the Palarong Bicol 2011.My Palarong Bicol team mate's and I were together for almost  2 months. We've been together in Pacol for almost one month, and in Guinobatan, Albay for 3 weeks.During the Palarong Bicol Leave-In Concentration Training, I did not expect that I am going to suffer a lot of body pain due to hard and non-stop training and sparring.
I'm telling you..believe me..(haha). In a set of our training w/c is equivalent to one day of training is composed of 2 hours walking, 2 hours jogging at the oval, 300 jumping jacks, 300 high knees, 300 sit-ups, 300 push-ups,500 different exercise, 2 hours sparring, and 3 hours poomsae.

I don't know how I passed this kind of test. For me,it's the hardest and most difficult training I've been through.
This kind of experience taught me on how to be more responsible, creative and independent. I met  diff. persons w/ diff. personalities and those people are my best memories...

I'm Proud to say that I AM AN ATHLETE...

Personal Entrepreneurial Competency

Monday, June 27, 2011

Last week,we discussed all about Personal Entrepreneurial Competency. We even filled up some PEC test questions.I learned that there are three Clusters made up the PEC. They are, the Planning Cluster, Achievement Cluster, and Power Cluster, and each of it is composed of characteristics that a good entrepreneur should have. The ten characteristics are, opportunity-seeking, systematic planning and monitoring, risk-taking, commitment to work contract, persistence, demand for quality and efficiency, goal-setting,information-seeking, persuasion and networking, self-confidence..
At the end of the week, our TLE teacher added some more characteristics, which are the creativity, self-control, desire for immediate feedback, desire for responsibility, high energy level, decision-making skill,well-defined values, and Courage
As I know, a good entrepreneur sets clear and specific objective and clear and specific long term.
They should also have specific objective everyday, they should be realistic, self-reliant,select goals w/c are important to them, and focused on possitive objectives only.

I never dreamed of being an Entrepreneur someday, but I still want to learn about on how to be a successful businesswoman,so I can share my knowledge to other people who is planning to open, operate, or run a business.
